We say goodbye to Bridge Street!

Hello Ladies!

As you can probably guess we have some bad news for you...our Bridge Street boutique is closing on May 25th.  We just wanted to take this opportunity to let all those of you who have come to know and love CosmeticsInc. what's going on.

Due to constant hardships since we opened with road works, and other shop closures, Bridge Street has become far too difficult an environment for our little shop to survive, and while those who use our products and take advantage of our advise love to do so, there are simply not enough people around to keep us afloat in these difficult times.  We hate nothing more than to let you down and for those who are used to using our products and will miss them we can only apologise...and trust us, we don't want this any more than you do!

From now until the 25th we will be running a sale in the boutique so you can stock up on all your favourites at 60% off...and even after the boutique is closed our website will still be active so you can reorder your products.

We would just like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our lovely customers for making this past year a wonderful time, and for embracing and loving everything we have done to try and add a little glamour and sparkle to our city.  As sad as we are that the boutique is closing we will always remember our time on Bridge Street as an amazing adventure where we had the chance to meet so many lovely people and do some really wonderful things.

Hopefully we will see you in the next couple of weeks for some bargains, and do keep an eye out for us in the future...you never know where we might pop up next!

Halloween Fun @ CosmeticsINC!

Hi,

We hope you all had lots of fun over Halloween and more importantly showed of your makeup skills!  We had a blast and thought we'd share a couple of the spooky looks we put together!

For Peterborough locals its an institution...for people reading from outside our little city its madness but we once again had the Zombie walk grace our streets and we were so pleased to have one of Peterborough's most beautiful corpses in the boutique getting ready for the event!  David did an amazing job of putting the 'gore' in GORGEOUS with CosmeticsINC makeup....creating a look to die for! My lovely sister stopped by, and despite being 6 months pregnant, was still set on being a glamorous witch!  I went for a flawless and eerily pale base of foundation stick, some suitably over the top smokey eyes in blacks and purples and a blood red lip with a hint of black just to shade and add the haunting edge...once the black wig and pointy hat was on she was looking amazing!

My favorite makeover was of course the one i did on myself!  Anyone who popped into the boutique on the 31st was in for a scare in the form of the post-mortem makeup artist! lots of pale foundation, lots of shading and contouring...all finished with a scary upturned lip and some red in the eyes and I was good to go!
